LG has launched the UltraGear G8 37G800A-B gaming monitor in the US, featuring a 36.5-inch 4K UHD curved VA display. The monitor is priced at $799.99 on Amazon US and targets gamers who want both high resolution and high refresh rates in a single package.

The display uses a 1000R curved VA panel with a resolution of 3840×2160 pixels and supports a 165Hz refresh rate. The monitor delivers a 1ms GtG response time and covers 95% of the DCI-P3 color space. It also meets the VESA DisplayHDR 600 certification, offering up to 600 nits of peak brightness and improved contrast performance in HDR content.
The monitor supports both VESA AdaptiveSync and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro. These certifications ensure reduced screen tearing, smoother motion, and more stable frame delivery across a wide range of frame rates.
