Brett is back, so the episodes are getting posted almost on time! Billed as “The ultimate summer party in the city: the world’s rarest cars assembled in the heart of the Square Mile”, I’m sure Salon Privé London would argue that. However, both events are magnificent and I would always try to attend. The London Concours has been held on the manicured lawns of the Honourable Artillery Company since 2017. What a great venue it is, and I always feel very lucky to be in this location, it’s special. In my opinion, and that of many passionate car fans, London Concours has become a key part of London’s summer calendar. With more…
Dead by Daylight turns 10 years old today, and for its anniversary, the team at Behaviour Interactive has announced a ton of things coming to the game, both in the short and long term. We’ve rounded up all of those announcements in one place in case you missed the stream, and you can find that stream below, too. Combined with those announcements are additional insights from my recent interview with the team ahead of the anniversary showcase. Here’s everything DBD fans need to know about what’s coming to the game. In This Article New killers: Jason Voorhees, Art the Clown,…
Dead by Daylight is now 10 years old and has been played by 70 million players worldwide, making it one of the older and most successful live-service games–and horror games–ever made. It’s changed a lot over those years, but one change you may have noticed is in its depictions of violence. The game has gotten more graphic over time, the game’s creative director Dave Richard explained to me. It’s been a conscious decision by the team, and he explained how pop culture’s increased interest in horror led to it. “When we started Dead by Daylight, we wanted to be as…
Dead by Daylight turns 10 years old today, June 14. The asymmetrical horror multiplayer game has been leading the pack since its debut, helping popularize the genre that has grown into a (haunted) cottage industry over the course of that decade. What began as a 4v1 game of horror-movie homages has grown into a horror museum of sorts, playing host to dozens of licensed collaborations with iconic horror staples like A Nightmare on Elm Street, Ringu, and The Walking Dead, as well as many striking original characters. Ahead of DBD’s anniversary celebration, I caught up with some members of the…

The back episodes finally make it online, this is number 2 in a series of episodes that did not get posted, but are now!Brett is out (which is why these didn’t get posted) – but the show is great as usual! Motorola phones hijaking stuff, Steam Deck OLED pricing, LLMs spill their guts, and Windows laptop makers are scare of the Macbook Neo!? This show cannot go on without you – you know who you are, please consider helping our efforts. It most definitely helps keep us on the air. And helps Josh buy burgers. Thank you!
Few games have generated as much momentum this year as Forza Horizon 6. The latest entry in Playground Games’ acclaimed racing series has earned widespread critical praise, including a fantastic 8/10 review from GameSpot, while also setting new player engagement records across the franchise. For a series that has consistently defined the open-world racing genre, it’s another major achievement — and one that reinforces Forza Horizon 6’s place as one of the biggest games in the industry right now. This time, the Horizon Festival heads to Japan. Long considered one of the most requested locations in the series’ history, Japan…
While Summer Game Fest is a lot more online-focused than the E3 it has replaced, it has begun to hit that scale where it’s hard to keep up with everything on display. Despite being structured around a parade of high profile live-streams, such as the indie-dedicated Day of the Devs, the event is supplemented by a number of other showcases through the week. To make sure nothing slips through the cracks, here’s a collection of games announced, updated, or waved hello during the hype-soaked affair. About FishingI had already put the upcoming fishing sim from The Water Museum as a…
When The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker made its public debut, it was met with a blend of confusion and anger. As the Nintendo GameCube had stunned players with the ambitious fidelity of Rogue Squadron and Wave Race, the cel-shaded, cartoony approach was in contrast to the Link seen during the 2000 Space World demo. Some dreamed of a more “realistic” Hyrule, trending darker and more dramatic. They’d eventually get something more tribal tattooed in Twilight Princess, but in the interim they’d have to eat crow. Wind Waker is in frequent rotation for the best in the series, illustrating…
