Admit it, you never really considered the Beats Solo Buds a top wireless earbuds option for you. Released back in the summer of 2024, these are obviously nowhere near as sophisticated (or as aggressively advertised as) Apple’s AirPods Pro 3, AirPods Pro 2, or AirPods 4, lacking active noise cancellation, spatial audio technology, and even the most basic charging case.
But at 30 bucks under an already reasonable list price of $69, none of those omissions is likely to matter much to bargain hunters in the search for the perfect stocking stuffer this Christmas. Clearly, you’re looking at a “true” Black Friday deal here that’s even labeled as such at Walmart despite the busiest shopping day of the year technically still being almost two weeks away at the time of this writing.

Now, that doesn’t mean the early BF 2025 promo will stay live for the entire period from today to November 28, with Walmart planning to put an end to its first wave of spectacular holiday offers tomorrow, November 16. After that, the Solo Buds could go down again to as little as $39 at some point closer to Thanksgiving… or not.
So, yes, I believe you should absolutely pull the trigger right now if you want the cheapest possible Apple-made earbuds out there and are not bothered by the single Ivory colorway the Beats Solo Buds are available in at their lower-than-ever price.

Unlike Apple’s AirPods, these bad boys offer native support for both iPhones and Android handsets, and to make up for their aforementioned lack of a charging case, they can keep your favorite tunes going for up to a whopping 18 hours on a single charge by themselves.
The Solo Buds are accompanied by a little elegant carrying case, mind you, and their audio quality is definitely not bad for 39 bucks thanks to a custom acoustic architecture promising “big Beats sound with full range and clarity.” It’s still early, I know, but I’m just about ready to bet that wireless earbuds shoppers won’t be able to get a better bargain this holiday season.

Apple’s 2024 flagship is still nothing to snark at. It has all the same software features, about the same cameras, save for super-pro modes like ProRes RAW Log 2 recording. If that didn’t mean anything to you, you’ll feel perfectly fine with an iPhone 16 Pro in your hands. And you save about $200 on what is essentially an excellent device that’s still hard to beat. Item prices vary by condition, color, and availability.
