Last month, Realme unveiled the Realme GT 8 and GT 8 Pro smartphones in China. Now, the brand is expected to ship its focus to Neo 8 series, which may include multiple models, such as the Realme Neo 8, Neo 8x, Neo 8 SE, and Neo 8 Turbo, which are expected to debut in the next few months in China. These devices are expected to succeed current generation’s Realme Neo 7, Neo 7x, Neo 7 SE, and Neo 7 Turbo. A new leak by tipster Smart Pikachu claims that the Realme plans to unveil the Neo 8 soon.
Realme Neo 8 coming soon

As can be seen above, the tipster claims that the Realme Neo 8 will be launching soon. According to him, the phone will come with a metal middle frame, an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, and a large battery described as being “8k+” in capacity, suggesting an 8,000mAh+ battery.
Recent reports have revealed that the Realme Neo 8 will feature a 6.78-inch flat OLED LTPS screen with support for a 1.5K reoslution and an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint scanner. For photography, it will feature a 50-megapixel main camera.
DCS revealed that the Realme Neo 8 will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5. The said chip will be first seen on the OnePlus Ace 6T, which is expected to launch this month in China.

However, the latest leak by tipster Smart Pikachu claims that the chipset information circulating online is not accurate. To recall, the Realme Neo 7. which debuted in December 2024, featured the Dimensity 9300 Plus chipset. Therefore, it remains to be seen whether the Neo 8 will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 or the existing Dimensity 9400+ chip.
