An upcoming Realme phone has been certified by China’s 3C certification platform. While the listing does not specify its name, it appears to be the upcoming Realme Neo 8, which is expected to debut in January 2026 in China. As usual, the certification has revealed the fast-charging capabilities of the device. At the same time, a leak, courtesy of tipster Digital Chat Station, has revealed the core specifications of the Neo 8.

The above screenshot reveals that the Realme Neo 8, bearing the model number RMX8899, has been approved by China’s 3C authority. The listing indicates that the device may ship with an 80W fast charger.

According to tipster Digital Chat Station, this recently certified phone will arrive with a massive 8,000mAh battery and a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset. Like recent Realme phones, this device is expected to ship with Android 16 based on Realme UI 7.
Previous leaks have revealed that it will feature a Samsung AMOLED LTPS panel with a flat design. While the exact screen size is not known yet, it will support a 1.5K resolution and feature an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor.
DCS has also revealed that the Realme Neo 8 will arrive with a metal frame and a glass back. It will offer IP68/69-level dust and water resistance. Other details of the phone are currently under wraps.

In related news, a Realme phone with the model number RMX8888 has been approved by Europe’s EEC authority. This device is likely to be a rebranded or tweaked version of the Neo 8 for the global market. Since there is a possibility that it could be a completely different device, it is advisable to wait for further reports to know the RMX8888’s final marketing name.
