In late December 2025, NASA and NOAA’s Terra satellite spotted the massive iceberg covered with blue meltwater. A-23A is one of the largest and longest-lived bergs ever tracked by scientists, but is at risk of completely disintegrating as it drifts through warm Southern Atlantic waters. Lumus got a major boost in brand recognition when one of its waveguides was selected for use in the Meta Ray-Ban Display glasses. But that already feels like old tech now because at CES 2026, the company brought some of its latest components to the show and based on what I saw, they seem poised to seriously elevate the optical quality of the next wave of high-end smartglasses. When the Meta Ray-Ban Displays glasses came out, they wowed users as they were (and still are) one of a handful of smartglassess to feature a full-color in-lens display with at least a…

Despite being repeatedly told that people were using his product to spy on others without their consent, Fleming helped them with tech support. A government investigator even opened up an affiliate marketing account for pcTattletale, and Fleming reached out to offer ready-made banner ads with text like “pcTattletale Cheating Husband? #1 catch a cheater spy tracker” and “pcTattletale Husband Cheating? Best Catch a Cheater Spy App.” Fleming noted in an email that pcTattletale was more successful when marketed at women, because “There are a lot more women wanting to catch their man then [sic] the other way around.” Financial records…

Avowed was quietly one of 2025’s best RPGs. In fact, it even made Kotaku‘s best games of the year list. But it was also one of the few remaining Microsoft games that was still exclusive to Xbox Series X/S. That changes next month. Obsidian Entertainment confirmed the Skyrim-like will hit PlayStation 5 on February 17 alongside a big anniversary update across all platforms. Despite bringing Forza Horizon and Gears of War to PS5 in 2025, Avowed remained an unusual island of exclusivity amid Microsoft’s new multiplatform push. It’ll now join Obsidian Entertainment’s other 2025 RPG, The Outer Worlds 2, on…

When Meta first announced its display-enabled smart glasses last year, it teased a handwriting feature that allows users to send messages by tracing letters with their hands. Now, the company is starting to roll it out, with people enrolled in its early access program getting it first,I got a chance to try the feature at CES and it made me want to start wearing my Meta Ray-Ban Display glasses more often. When I reviewed the glasses last year, I wrote about how one of  my favorite tings about the neural band is that it reduced my reliance on voice commands.…
