We’re now a full week out from Black Friday, but it looks like someone forgot to tell Sony. Amazon has the PlayStation 5 Pro on sale for $101 off. This latest model of the console has recently been priced as high as $750, but for the holiday season, you can grab the system of just $649. The PS5 Has No Games Alrighty, we all love to go online and make jokes. The recurring meme around the PS5 is that the system “has no games.” It’s become a tired bit at this point. When flight instructor and former commercial airline pilot Jon Kotwicki happened upon a DC-6 air freighter for sale in 2022, he knew it was the perfect plane to transform into an overnight rental. However, once he made the purchase, “my first thought,” says Kotwicki, “was, ‘My God, what have I done?’” Built in 1956, the 117-foot-wide, 108-foot-long cargo plane had spent its days carrying freight and fuel to remote villages in Alaska before retiring from flight. Now it sits on Kotwicki’s 115-acre property in Big Lake,…
As for what to do about it, Griffin said legislators should end the present plan. “The Artemis III mission and those beyond should be canceled and we should start over, proceeding with all deliberate speed,” Griffin said. He included a link to his plan, which is not dissimilar from the “Apollo on Steroids” architecture he championed two decades ago, but was later found to be unaffordable within NASA’s existing budget. “There need to be consequences” Other panel members offered more general advice. Clayton Swope, deputy director of the Aerospace Security Project for the Center for Strategic and International Studies, said…

So she worked as a high school chemistry teacher and a food…

Fossils may reveal what type of animal died millions of years ago, but they rarely depict exactly how they perished. Even rarer are the examples that clearly showcase an animal’s exact cause of death. In fact, a 120-million-year-old bird specimen housed at China’s Shandong Tianyu Museum of Nature may be the only fossilized remains of its kind. “There are thousands of bird fossils at the Shandong Tianyu Museum, but on my last trip to visit their collections, this one really jumped out at me,” Chicago’s Field Museum…

The new WMO report shows that the foundations of daily life across the Arab region, including farms, reservoirs, and aquifers that feed and sustain millions, are being pushed to the brink by human-caused warming. In parts of Morocco, reservoirs have fallen to record low levels. The government has enacted water restrictions in major cities, including limits on household use, and curtailed irrigation for farmers. Water systems in Lebanon…
