Casio has launched a new gold-tone watch in the US market. The MTP-B145GC-9AV joins the company’s retro-inspired MTP-B145 series and is now available on Casio’s official online store for $140. The model was previously available in select European countries, including the UK and Germany.

Casio MTP-B145GC-9AV Specs
The MTP-B145GC-9AV features a retro 1980s-inspired look with a minimalist dial. The gold ion-plated stainless steel case and band give the watch a bold appearance. The dial uses a simple analog layout with three hands and a date display, designed for quick readability without extra elements.
The case measures 40mm by 35mm with a thickness of 7.4mm. The watch weighs 82 grams and includes a one-touch three-fold clasp. It supports wrist sizes between 150mm and 205mm. Casio has rated the watch for 50-meter water resistance, suitable for everyday splashes but not for swimming or diving.
The watch runs on a quartz movement with an accuracy of ±20 seconds per month. It uses a standard SR621SW battery, which Casio says will last around three years. The face is protected by mineral glass.

Alongside this new golden finish, the MTP-B145 series actually comes in several other styles that are already available. The MTP-B145DC-3AV features a green dial, the MTP-B145DC-2A2V uses a blue-toned look, the MTP-B145DC-4AV adds rose gold accents, and the MTP-B145D-7BV continues as the classic silver option.
In related news, Casio introduced a digital watch series that predicts the best time to go fishing, and the G-Shock lineup received a fresh update with a new Crosshatch style.
