Pebble has officially launched the Round 2 smartwatch, marking the return of its classic round design first introduced with the Pebble Time Round in 2015. The new model updates the original’s minimalist look with a larger display, better battery life, and updated internals while staying true to Pebble’s signature e-paper roots.

Pebble Round 2 Specifications
The Pebble Round 2 features a 1.3-inch color e-paper display with a resolution of 260×260 pixels and a pixel density of 283 DPI. Pebble has removed the thick bezel seen in the original model, allowing the display to stretch closer to the edges. The stainless steel body measures 8.1 mm in thickness, slightly thicker than the original’s 7.5 mm, but still thinner than most smartwatches available today.
The smartwatch runs on Pebble OS, which remains open source. It supports both Android and iOS devices and connects via the Pebble mobile app. Pebble claims a battery life of up to two weeks, thanks to the low-power E Ink screen and a newer Bluetooth chip. The device includes four physical buttons, a touchscreen interface, and a backlight for visibility in low light conditions.
Pebble has equipped the Round 2 with basic health tracking features, including step counting and sleep monitoring. There is no heart rate sensor or advanced health monitoring. The watch includes an accelerometer, magnetometer, and a linear resonance actuator for haptic feedback. Two built-in microphones support voice replies and interactions with AI assistants. However, the device does not have a speaker, so phone calls cannot be handled directly from the watch.

The Pebble Round 2 carries a 30-meter water resistance rating. The watch supports app and watchface downloads through the Pebble Appstore, which continues to offer more than 15,000 options. Pebble offers the watch in matte black, brushed silver, and polished rose gold, with two band size options depending on the model.
Pricing and Availability
Pebble has priced the Round 2 at $199. Pre-orders are live now on rePebble.com, and shipping will begin in May.
