The Anker Prime Docking Station is really trying to be you central hub for every atop your desk. It’s equipped with a whopping 14 ports. Along the back we have a standard Ethernet capable of speeds up to 2.5Gbps. There are three USB-A ports, one capable of up to 480Mbps with the other two up to 5Gbps. There is a USB-C port which can be used for either display, charging, or data transfer. It can hit transfer speeds of up to 10Gbps and reach a max output of 140W.
On the topic of display, the Anker Prime docking station also features two HDMI ports capable of up to 8K at 30Hz as well as a DisplayPort capable of up to 8K at 60Hz. Between those, you can connect to up to three monitors at once. Technically, four displays if you are using a laptop connected over the USB-C slot.
Along the front end, we have an SD card slot plus a TF card slot — excellent for photographers or video editors. Then there are two USB-C ports capable of charging outputs of 100W Max and data transfer of up to 10Gbps. A third USB-C port is capable of a charging output of 100W Max and data transfer of 5Gbps. And then for our 14th port we have the trusty, ol’ reliable headphone and mic combo audio jack. You’ll have to pry my AUX from my cold, dead hands.
The front also features an LED smart display. This can communicate helpful info like the updates on charging power, display performance, fan cooling mode, and other useful settings.
