ViewSonic has introduced a new 24.5-inch gaming monitor in China under the model name VX25G26-2K-2. The monitor is priced at 811 yuan ($114) and targets gamers who want high performance in a compact form factor.

ViewSonic VX25G26-2K-2 Specifications
The monitor has a 24.5-inch Fast IPS display with QHD (2560×1440) resolution and a native 165Hz refresh rate that can be overclocked to 180Hz. It delivers sharp, detailed visuals with around 120 PPI pixel density and ensures smooth motion with a 1ms (GtG) response time.
In terms of color accuracy, the ViewSonic VX25G26-2K-2 covers 100% of the sRGB and 95% of the DCI-P3 color gamuts. It comes factory-calibrated with a claimed Delta E≤2, making it suitable for gaming and light content creation. The panel supports HDR10 to enhance contrast and brightness in compatible games and videos, though its 300-nit peak brightness limits the overall HDR impact.

ViewSonic has added its Eye ProTech+ Gen 2 hardware-based low blue light protection. This feature reduces harmful blue light emissions to under 40% without affecting color quality. The monitor also features a 1000:1 static contrast ratio and 8-bit color depth.
For connectivity, the VX25G26-2K-2 includes two HDMI 2.0 ports, one DisplayPort 1.4, and a 3.5mm audio output. The monitor supports both AMD FreeSync and Nvidia G-Sync adaptive sync technologies, which help prevent screen tearing and maintain smooth frame delivery.
The design features a slim metal stand and a compact footprint suited for smaller gaming setups. The monitor weighs approximately 3.8 kilograms.
In related news, LG recently introduced the 37G800A curved 4K 165Hz gaming monitor with DisplayHDR 600 certification and USB-C 65W PD support, while AOC unveiled the U27G4F gaming monitor featuring a dual-mode Fast IPS panel that switches between 4K 190Hz and FHD 380Hz modes.
