Vivo is expected to unveil the Vivo X300 Ultra in the first half of 2026 in China. One of its major attractions could be that it may debut as the world’s first flagship phone equipped with dual 200-megapixel cameras. In a new leak, tipster Digital Chat Station has revealed the exact month in which the device may debut in China.
Vivo X300 Ultra launch timeframe (rumored)

As can be seen above, DCS claims that the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5-powered Ultra-branded phone from Vivo is tentatively scheduled to debut in March 2026. While he did not specify the device’s name, it is evident that he could be referring to the Vivo X300 Ultra.
To recall, the Vivo X200 Ultra was unveiled in April 2025. The new leak suggests that the X300 Ultra will debut nearly a month earlier than the previous generation. One major change that could be seen on the X300s is that it may feature the Dimensity 9500 Plus, which appears to be an overclocked version of the D9500.

As per reports, the Vivo X300 Ultra will feature a 6.8-inch OLED 2K 120Hz screen and the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip. Its rear camera setup will comprise a 200-megapixel (Sony IMX09E, OIS) + 50-megapixel (Sony LYT-828) + 200-megapixel (Samsung HPB, periscope telephoto with OIS). For selfies, it will feature a 50-megapixel front camera.
At present, there is no information about the phone’s battery and charging capabilities. It is speculated that Vivo may also unveil the Vivo X300s, an updated version of the existing X300, alongside the X300 Ultra in March 2026 in China.
Global launch expected
In related news, the Vivo X300 Ultra could be the company’s first “Ultra”-branded flagship phone to release globally. The device has been spotted in the IMEI database with model number V2562. Likely, it will reach the global market in the second quarter of 2026.
