Daniel Cooper for Engadget reMarkable is arguably the leader in making e-paper tablets for people who do capital-s Serious capital-w Work. In the last two years, the company has launched the flagship Paper Pro and a smaller sibling, the Paper Pro Move. Now it’s turned its attention back to the lower end of the market with the Paper Pure, a successor to 2020’s reMarkable 2. The reMarkable Paper Pure is a 10.3-inch writing slate designed to mimic the experience of writing on paper. You can use it to write, read…

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024’s new World Update 21: Australia has arrived, and in addition to adding more cities, airports, and three-dozen new points of interest, the update includes a new mission meant to honor the New South Wales Rural Fire Service (RFS). This is the largest fire service in the world, made up of nearly 70,000 volunteers, and it’s a big job in the country where bushfires are an ongoing threat. Devastating fires in the country in 2019/2020 made international news, with millions of acres burned, more than 30 human deaths, and more than 1.5 billion animals losing their lives…

I like that the ReMarkable Paper Pure kept the thicker side bezel, which the pricier Paper Pro and Paper Pro Move don’t have. It’s a perfect resting spot for my thumb to grab it and start writing, and it responds to rotations, so you can use it comfortably whether you’re right- or left-handed (the stylus will only attach to the long side without the thicker bezel, though, which is a little inconvenient for lefties). It has a fast response time and a smooth writing experience that, like ReMarkable models before it, feels incredibly paperlike with a touch of texture and resistance…

The reMarkable Paper Pure is, without a doubt, one of the nicest e-paper writing slates I’ve spent a lot of time with. The writing experience is more or less identical to the one found on the Paper Pros, and it’s an enormously well-crafted experience. I’m a big fan of the display and I’m fairly sure it’s more responsive to page swipes and refreshes than its siblings. Given what people will use this device for, I’m not even sure they’re going to miss the color display. I certainly didn’t, which even I was surprised about, but then color isn’t a necessity…

James Bond has been a mainstay of cinema for over 60 years, but author Ian Fleming’s suave spy has also been in his element when it comes to video games. A charismatic hero foiling world domination plots concocted by diabolical villains made for a perfect video game recipe, and once you factored in Bond’s talent for witty one-liners and his unmatched skill in getting rid of colorful henchmen, Britain’s finest export found his place in the interactive entertainment scene–to varying degrees of success. Not every Bond video game has been good, but that’s the case with almost all licensed video…

That’s a lot of complaints, I know. But if you just need something simple and “good enough,” the Logitech Brio 300 will do and certainly has better lowlight performance over an older option like the Logitech C920. If you have decent lighting in your room, the Brio 300 will still be an upgrade over your laptop’s webcam in terms of image quality. The gap between the $150 and $50 is pretty wide, but honestly, there aren’t a lot of great options in between that I’ve tested. Check in my honorable mentions down below for some other options in between, but truthfully,…

When you’re a self-funded, self-publishing studio like Rebellion, the team behind the Sniper Elite series and last year’s breakout new IP, Atomfall, you have to find a few ways to stand out from the pack. Steam has ballooned in size in recent years. In 2012, Steam would see about 30 new games per month, or an average of one per day. In March of this year, 2,472 new games hit Steam, or an average of more than 80 new games every day. Between tiny indie teams of as few as one person and mega AAA studios, there are studios like…

The GameZone rebate system is designed to give players a structured way to earn back value from their activity instead of relying on short-term bonuses. From the moment a user logs in, the platform tracks deposits, wagers, and participation, converting them into measurable rewards that extend gameplay and improve overall efficiency. Unlike traditional promotions that are granted upfront, rebates are earned over time. This distinction matters because it ties rewards directly to how players use the platform. Whether engaging in Tongits matches, joining tournaments, or exploring slots, every action contributes to potential returns such as bonus credits, cashback, or event access. The system also emphasizes…

Many WordPress site owners keep publishing content for months but still aren’t sure if their SEO is actually working. The tricky part is that the results are usually already there but they’re just not always easy to notice at first glance. Instead of appearing in one obvious place, SEO performance shows up across different areas of your site. You can spot it through clear signals like organic traffic, keyword rankings, indexed pages, click-through rates, and conversions. In this guide, I’ll show you how to check if your SEO is working and measure your SEO progress on your site using tools…

The Forte, which comes in up to seven colors depending on where you buy it, has a Direct Drive motor that offers 10 speeds to switch between, along with a smooth-start setting. With this setting, the attachments are meant to gain momentum to reach the speed you’ve selected rather than jumping into hyperdrive. While I wasn’t expecting the setting to begin at a snail’s pace, I found it more of a half-speed start than a smooth ramp-up. The Forte’s speed settings can be adjusted via a chrome knob on the top of the mixer rather than on the side. I…
