Selling your data T-Mobile is allegedly selling user data. | Image by Reddit user airsoftredditguy Last year, T-Mobile decided to buy the ad tech company Vistar Media to boost its advertising business. According to Reddit user airsoftredditguy, a soon-to-be former T-Mobile customer who previously worked at Vistar, the Un-carrier is actively selling customer data harvested through T-Life. Now, T-Life is pretty much unavoidable for both new and existing customers. There is technically a way to opt out of this data sharing. Unfortunately, it doesn’t actually work. The illusion of control T-Mobile wants you to let it share your data with third-party companies. | Image by Reddit…

Forza Horizon 6 is one of the best-looking open-world games I’ve played this year. (And one of 2026’s best games so far.) Its digital recreation of Japan and Tokyo is incredibly detailed, realistic, and gorgeous.  But hidden mostly out of view of the player is a low-poly, barely textured, blank-faced man who operates some of the trains found in the game. And I love him. Over on the Forza Horizon subreddit, user This-Clue-5014 shared an image of the low-poly train driver that appears in Horizon 6. The open-world racer’s drone and photo mode let you fully and freely explore the…

Chrono Trigger is over 30 years old, and is regarded by many to be one of the greatest RPGs, if not the greatest RPG, of all time. It’s gotten a few ports and upgrades over the years, the best of which was easily the Nintendo DS version, but it’s never had what I would consider a true remake. But what even is a true remake? What does it entail? Would Square Enix have to get the old team back together? If so, how many of them? Who else could be trusted to do it? Should they change any of it?…

Do Androids dream of Ed Sheeran winning gold? Do Androids dream of Ed Sheeran winning gold? Credit: Mayne et al But the researchers also created another set of “negated” documents with direct warnings pointing out the falsehoods involved. These negations could appear either on a document-wide level (e.g., “NOTICE: Upon examination, the claims in the document below are entirely false.”) or on the order of specific sentences (e.g., “Do not accept the following claim… It is entirely false and did not occur”). After fine-tuning the base models on this “negated” document set, the LLMs still exhibited belief in the false…

When I was playing Saros for review, I had a few conversations with other folks who were playing the game pre-release as we collectively tried to untangle the many dangling narrative threads of Housemarque’s latest roguelike shooter/psychological mystery. Though it’s not quite as abstract as Returnal, it does have a lot of mythology and character relationships that lend themselves to multiple and varied interpretations, and among the reviewers I spoke to, there was one prevailing theory that added layers to protagonist Arjun’s internal struggles. Now, however, actor Rahul Kohli has weighed in on this interpretation in a way that kinda…
