There are plenty of features in the Galaxy S26 series for which Samsung should be praised. This includes things like an upgraded Bixby, horizontal lockscreen in the camera app, and the audio eraser. But the one upgrade I really liked the most is the new privacy display in the Galaxy S26 Ultra. Many smartphone brands have found this feature so impressive that they are reportedly working on building their own version of a privacy display. The latest among them is Xiaomi, which apparently has gone a step ahead as it is looking to introduce this capability as a software upgrade.Firstly,…
Self-driving cars aren’t yet permitted to operate in Virginia. But Alphabet-owned Waymo began transporting its cars to the state last week, a Waymo representative told Virginia officials, to map Arlington and Alexandria, in the northern part of the state. For most autonomous vehicle companies, mapping, or the creation of sensor-aided and ultra-precise digital representations of streets and the features around them, is the first step required to launch a local robotaxi service. Drivers will operate the mapping vehicles for now, Waymo says.Ethan Teicher, a spokesperson for Waymo, confirmed the move to WIRED and called it “an important preparatory step should the…
This week, Epic Games published a concept-art image showing what appeared to be a Porsche vehicle dropping into Fortnite. However, it was quickly removed after players theorized it had been made with the use of generative AI. And while Epic has since offered an explanation for what happened, something still seems … off. Almost immediately after it was posted, ResetEra users pointed out that the image in question did not appear to be made by a human. Featuring a Porsche vehicle floating alongside a whole bunch of players, the car brand’s logo is illegible on the platform. Additionally, what appears…

It’s easy to lose a couple of hours on Instagram – we’ve all done it. Instead of using cutting-edge Hall Effect switches with adjustable actuation points and features like Rapid Trigger, this keyboard comes with standard mechanical switches. This means the actuation point cannot be changed, and some performance and customization are left on the table. The benefit of mechanical switches is that there is more physical customization. Underneath each key is a hot-swap socket, meaning these switches can be replaced with any MX-style switch. While this allows for extensive fine-tuning of the typing feel, the feature won’t objectively increase gaming performance.Considering the switches and the size of this keyboard, it’s really not meant to be…
Over ten years since its original release, The Witcher 3 is receiving some brand new DLC. Much rumored of late, but often looking more like hopium than reality, CD Projekt Red has now confirmed that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Songs of the Past is a reality, and it’s coming out in 2027. Oh, and might CDPR be hinting at a bigger announcement for tomorrow? Perhaps some The Witcher IV footage? The new content for what will by then be a twelve-year-old game is being co-developed by CDPR and Fools Theory, coming to PC, Xbox Series and PS5. And not, notably, the…
